Cincinnati Tattoo Festival

The Cincinnati Tattoo Festival is a festival/event that helps to gather everyone from the tattoo community to create an immersive and educational experience for all. It has different events and is host to many familiar tattoo artists that you can schedule appointments with.

This project is a branding concept/proposal for the event. It highlights the inclusivity of the festival as well as creates a tone that feels more on brand for what the festival stands for.

Sketching for the Word Mark

In order to begin this a word mark for the festival needed to be created. Iterations through sketching were done to determine the best way to approach digitally.

Deciding on a Direction

With the sketches laid out the design on the right middle was the one that would be taken digitally and iterated on. Before doing that though more analogue sketches were conducted to decide on a final method to approach.

Final

Creating Name Badges

While the original festival did not have badges designed, name badges were designed for staff and artists so that guests would be able to identify their role. Iterations are on the top and the final is on the bottom.

Creating a Billboard

Billboard designs were iterated on and designed to showcase the community aspect of the festival. The iterations are on the top and the final is below.

Creating a Brochure

A brochure was created to showcase the events that were at the festival as well as prices and artists that would be in attendance. The initial iterations are on the left and the final outcome is on the right and placed into the mockup.
